ABOUT OUR STUDIO
Studio & Experience
In Greek mythology, while the God Apollo is more often associated with being the God of the Sun, he also is recognized as the God of the Arts. In fact, it was Apollo who taught the Muses the Arts. The Muses in turn brought the Arts and inspiration to mankind. These ties to the Arts made Apollo the perfect inspiration for our studio’s name.

Our beautiful studio was custom designed and built to fit the needs of 21st Century conservators and the artwork they work on. The studio is fully climate controlled to insure the ideal temperature and humidity for paintings.

While our studio is new, our conservators have the experience and expertise to meet all your conservation needs. Not only do they have master’s degrees in Art Conservation from a prestigious British University as well as special certifications from a noted Italian University, they also have professional expertise with the restoration of priceless, historically significant artworks.
At Apollo Art Conservation, we believe in staying current on the newest conservation techniques, while employing time-honored, traditional techniques as appropriate.

Our conservators have worked on many paintings for individual clients as well as projects for the Smithsonian, historic murals in the Minnesota State Capitol Building, and most notably, the relocation and conservation of the Civil War Battle of Atlanta Cyclorama.

During college, she was afforded the opportunity to study in Italy, where she got her first hands-on experience. After receiving her BA in Art History and Theory with a minor in Chemistry from CW Post University, Long Island, NY, she went on to receive her MA in Conservation of Fine Art from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
